Shankar’s International Dolls Museum in Delhi showcases one of the most stunning doll collections in the world. Also one of the largest collections ever curated, this labour of love was launched in 1965 by well-known political cartoonist K. Shankar Pillai. Today, the exhibits include 6500 dolls from 85 countries. Visiting dignitaries from Greece, Thailand, Iran and Mexico are some who have contributed dolls from their countries to this rich collection. So amazing is the display, that adults enjoy the exhibits as much as kids do.
