Tucked away in the Bundelkhand region, the little town of Orchha is a hidden gem. Orchha was founded by Rajput chieftain Rudra Pratap and the big landmark here is the imposing Orchha Fort. The precincts include the Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal and Rai Praveen Mahal. Several other well-preserved temples and palaces offer an inviting glimpse of a bygone age.
